There are two school systems that serve the Mooresville area, and those are the Iredell-Statesville School System and the Mooresville Graded School District. This is comprised of 17 primary and secondary schools. There are also two public charter schools in Mooresville, and those are Langtree Charter and Pine Lake Prep.

Story Homes began building Widgeon Heights in 2017. Once completed, the community will include twelve single family residences built on stunning lots with views of the gorgeous Lake Norman and meticulously kept landscapes by the neighboring golf course. Square footage will range between 2,500 sq. ft. and 4,000 sq. ft, based on which of the twelve unique and thoughtfully designed homes you choose.
